I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
